As Many of you know on September 19, 2010 my brother Staff Sergeant Brian Mast was wounded in combat.  He was injured by an IED blast in Afghanistan while performing dismounted EOD operations in support of special operations forces  He lost both of his legs above the knee, has many wounds and fractures to his left hand/arm along with other injuries.  He is currently at Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he will be for 9 months to a year for his entire rehab.  He is a very strong and corageous man and is making amazing progress everyday.

When I visited my brother at Walter Reed I was overwhelmed at the many different organizations that came in to see my brother and give their offerings whether it was a word of support, a grant, food, quilt, special clothes, whatever it was it was greatly appreciated my brother.  The organizations not only offered support to him, but also to his wife, son, and rest of the family which included flights, hotel accomadations, food, and baby supplies.  Some of the organizations I know that offered support were....

Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation
Army Wounded Warrior program
Red Cross
Hero Miles
Aleechia Foundation
Casulty Affairs Office

After seeing the many organizations that offered support I realized that none of the donations would have been possible without the help of people like you and me.  I have never been one to give out donations to organizations, but I know realize how important it really is.  I spoke with my brother to find out if there was one organization that he would like me to assist with and he requested the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation since that was his specialty.  I will now be donating 5% of every bag purchased to the  Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation.  The amount is small considering all the wounded warriors there are today, but if everyone just gives a little it all helps out.

A special thank you to my brother, Staff Sergeant Brian Mast and all the other wounded warriors, and soldiers who have risked their lives and are still risking them today for our country.  Thank You
